Hunt Tech laying out the track for hydrogen-powered cars
In April this year, Hunt Tech Company attended an exhibition in Hanover, Germany. Their silicone hose products for hydrogen-powered cars received positive feedback at the exhibition.
After the Hanover exhibition, the company spent a month traveling through countries such as the Netherlands, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Spain, visiting clients one by one. They reached initial collaboration agreements with enterprises from multiple countries. After returning to their home country, they began to supply samples and products, achieving mass production.
Ballard Power Systems of Canada is dedicated to the research and development, as well as the production of automotive fuel cells. It is one of the global leaders in the field of proton exchange membrane fuel cell technology. In September 2022, Hunt Tech collaborated with Ballard to jointly develop a new type of tubing product specifically for hydrogen-powered vehicles.
The standard silicone hose material was made of regular silicone combined with a platinum vulcanization system, while this material is a special fluorine-based material. This product has to undergo a series of high and low temperature tests, fatigue tests, chemical tests, and various aging tests. Currently, this product has completed more than 70 tests, whereas typical products only require six to seven tests.
After undergoing tests for over three months, totaling 1000 hours, the product was sent to the client in Canada. Currently, the client's six-month cycle testing has been completed, and they are in the process of small-batch installation and test driving.
During the research and development process, Hunt Tech obtained several invention patents. Thanks to their professionalism and dedication, Hunt Tech has successively been recognized as a provincial high-tech enterprise, and has been awarded honors such as the provincial exemplary outstanding enterprise.
In the future, the hydrogen energy sector will be a trillion-level major market. With the help and support of the government, we are confident that within three to five years, Hunt Tech will lead the automotive pipeline industry and strive to become a world-class enterprise in this field.
